About the Feuerstein Congress
(also known as "Shoresh")
A central pillar of our annual training calendar.
Since 1979, the Feuerstein Institute's International Workshop has evolved into the renowned Shoresh Congress, which attracts hundreds of participants each year.
Teachers, therapists, and parents from around the world attend Shoresh to study the Feuerstein Method and strengthen their students' thinking and learning skills.
Participants can choose from Learning Potential Assessment (LPAD) or Cognitive Enrichment (PEI) courses, designed for a wide range of individuals: preschool and school-aged children, students with special needs, and young adults who wish to develop their problem-solving abilities.

What is the Feuerstein Method?
The Feuerstein Method is a process-based approach to cognitive development that focuses on how people think, not just their knowledge.
Its comprised of two components:
1. LPAD (Learning Potential Assessment Device): a dynamic assessment that identifies how an individual learns and what helps them improve.
2. Instrumental Enrichment (FIE): a cognitive enrichment program that develops flexible, independent, and reflective thinkers.
Through the Mediated Learning Experience, participants learn to identify, analyze, and overcome learning challenges in a structured and meaningful way, empowering people of all backgrounds and abilities to reach their full potential.

Learn techniques based on cognitive research that have been proven to work for all ages.
